Lake Forest Park and other communities in Seattle’s north end could soon experience the worst traffic congestion in their history. Despite this looming crisis, Sound Transit has made no effort to coordinate its Stride-S3 project with other major concurrent highway construction projects.

Our recent blog “Is a Traffic Perfect Storm Coming?”  called attention to a coming traffic perfect storm which may result from the cumulative effects of construction of the Sound Transit Stride 3 Bus Rapid Transit project, beginning next year.  This is because this two to three year construction will occur  concurrently with construction of six other regional highway projects affecting traffic north of Seattle.
